Easter celebrations lasted all weekend around here! Sadie had so much fun learning about Easter. (especially the part about the bunny who brings you presents and candy and hides eggs full of more candy)
We colored eggs with Khyler and Cooper at Grandma Nyman's house and they had a GREAT time!
Last year, Sadie was too little to realize what was going on; and Khyler and Cooper hadn't ever colored eggs, so they thought it was SO cool!
The "big kids" took over after Sadie, Khyler and Cooper were done and probably had just as much fun. Good thing the table was covered in newspaper!
Sadie was SO excited to see what the Easter Bunny brought her! She was just as excited to see what the bunny brought Afton--so cute.
Cheesy grin after the egg hunt at our house. She loved figuring out what was in all the eggs; she loved eating what was in the eggs even more.
After the extravaganza at our house (and surviving through church on nothing but candy) we went to Grandma Nyman's house for ANOTHER egg hunt! The bunny hid all the eggs we colored the day before and Sadie and Kate got to find all 45 of them!
We weren't done yet! After that egg hunt we went to the Gillespies for the infamous candy hunt!
After all the candy is found, it's piled on the floor and separated into equal piles so every kid gets the same amount.
By the end of the night, Sadie was on such a candy high, she was either running, jumping and squealing, or throwing herself on the floor crying. Little too much candy I think... We sure had a great Easter though!
